DECOHAUS is the theme of a collection inspired by Art Deco and Bauhaus, the two international design movements that overlapped during the 20’s. All of this collection’s designs have been locally reinterpreted using traditional UAE materials (such as camel leather) and the octagon, a shape often found in Middle Eastern and Islamic design and patterns. Each piece has been named after this key shape of the octagon. Hence:

OCTA SHELF
It is the observation of the many floor and wall tiles at cafes around the Mediterranean that inspired these wall shelves. They work both as wall decorations and book racks, responding well to any interior space. Made of a single piece of marble cut in the octagon shape, these shelves have great space behind to store books and magazines. The shelf is only half the depth so that the books and magazines sit up above the front piece making them very visible and easily accessed.
