T Collection
T translates cultural heritage into an evolving collection defined by the act of folding. Rooted in the traditional Emirati craft of Talli embroidery, its design language takes cues from the Kujoojeh, the small capsule-shaped cushion used by Emirati women to support the weaving of intricate Talli patterns. The cushion’s softened form and the delicate crossing of gold and silver threads inspire a vocabulary of layered surfaces, allowing a familiar cultural reference to take on new meaning beyond its original function. The collection is first expressed through chandeliers, with shades crafted from wood and metal suspended around a hand-folded textile form to create a shifting interplay of light and shadow.
This folding gesture provides continuity throughout the collection, allowing its design language to extend across materials and categories. Open to customization and collaboration, each new piece can explore the relationship between softness and structure while remaining recognizably T. Rather than reproducing Talli literally, the collection carries forward its rhythm and precision through contemporary design, establishing a versatile foundation grounded in craft but open to new forms.
